GEN College Diyarbakir

PREPARATION FOR NATIONAL EXAMS

LGS AND YKS

Expert and Experienced Teachers

The teaching staff at GEN Koleji consists of highly qualified teachers who are strong communicators, experienced, specialized in exam preparation, actively involved in publishing, and closely follow innovations in education, in line with the qualifications in the GEN Performance System managed by GEN Educational Institutions.

Academic Program and Activity Calendar

Throughout the academic year, the GEN Koleji Academic Calendar, meticulously prepared by the educational coordinators in accordance with the MEB curriculum, is implemented simultaneously across all institutions. Various sports and artistic activities listed in the Activity Calendar are actively carried out; participation in various national and international tournaments takes place; workshops, events, and shows supporting the educational program are organized, and city tours are arranged.

Exams and Assessment

Students' academic progress is closely monitored through frequently administered mock exams. The mock exams are evaluated by a specialized assessment unit. Detailed report cards and achievement analyses are provided. Additionally, to ensure that teachers and parents can track progress, the results are published on the Online Education and Communication Portal. Exam results are reviewed with the mentor teacher, and students are directed to necessary study sessions and given individual assignments.

Remedial and Reinforcement Study Sessions

In weekly study sessions, work is done based on the gaps identified in the achievement analysis from the administered exams. In homogeneous study groups separated by class or topic gaps, topic explanations, reinforcement, gap filling, reviews, and problem-solving related to the achievement are conducted.

Individual Studies

Individual studies are assigned to reinforce what the student has learned or to prepare in advance for new topics. Every Friday, the 3GEN Homework Booklet is distributed and also shared through the Online Communication Portal. The following week, the 3GEN Homework Booklet is checked, and the results are recorded on the Online Communication Portal for the parents' information.
