GEN MAP
In order to understand the student and discover their potential, a GEN Map is created for each student based on various tests, inventories, and one-on-one interviews conducted in cognitive, physical, social, and psychological areas.
The GEN Map serves as a guide in understanding the student, providing education, and planning their career based on their individual differences, tendencies, desires, and goals. Additionally, in the light of the GEN Map report and teacher observations, all students are directed to the fields suitable to their talents and interests within the GEN Young Talents Program, which is unique to GEN College, ensuring that their potential is maximized.
YOUNG TALENTS ACADEMY
The courses, workshops, practices, and activities in the Young Talents Academy aim for students to develop hobbies in areas of high interest, gain awareness in areas where they have strong talents, and specialize in fields where both talent and interest are dominant.
Before a student is directed to activities within the Young Talents Academy, teachers' opinions are gathered, and a "Talent and Interest Inventory" is administered to the student. The identified dominant and interest areas are shared with the student and the parent. Taking the student's preference into consideration, they are guided to the most appropriate fields within the academy. All activities are exhibited in various organizations throughout the year, and collaborations with NGOs are conducted, with students' work being awarded with certificates.
Life in Harmony with Art
Students discover their interests, develop their talents, and learn to express their emotions and thoughts through art within courses and activities that develop 21st-century skills such as visual arts, music, theater, and literature discussions. Through art classes and workshops held at GEN College, the aim is for students to show multi-faceted development and to be equipped to become global artists by receiving fundamental art education.
Developing Sporting Skills
Students relax physically and mentally during the sports activities held at school and show multi-faceted development. While activities such as gymnastics, yoga, volleyball, basketball, etc., take place according to the educational program, GEN College students participate individually and as teams in national and international sports competitions and tournaments.
